Treating Psoriasis

Sorry for the photo, I wanted one that would show what it looked like without being too disturbing. This is the best I could find.
Treating Psoriasis (sore-eye-ah-sis):
Psoriasis is red skin that is covered with silvery scales. It is usually one the elbows or knees and can be pretty gross looking. Well, not to long ago I was watching Dr. Oz and I found your cure. If this does work you will need to see a dermetologist.
It generally happens on both sides on the body. It classically happens on joint areas. The skin there is made of many different lines. As they accumulate tissue they go to the surface and fall off. However, with psoriasis your t-cells get irratated and they release chemicals. Those chemicals go through the tissue and cause the cells to reproduce more quickly, the cells don't secrete correclty and they don't keep your skin nice and smooth. Psoriasis is not to be confused with eczema. Eczma looks more like someone took sand paper to your skin. Eczma is primarily an illergic reaction. Psoriasis is the build up of too much skin.
Treatment: 1. One way to treat psoriasis is through topical steroids and through vitmin D.You can also use injection pens from the doctor.
Home Treatment:
1. Take moisturizer and put a lot on the area - don't be stingy!
2. Wrap skin in plastic wrap with moisturizer still on. And go to bed.
3. In the morning you should be able to wash it off. Getting rid of the surface of psoriasis will help heal it.
