We hear almost EVERYWHERE "eat more fruits and vegetables." Which is great because we need to, but no one ever says why we should eat them. This leaves plenty of people confused and wondering "what's the point?" Sure they know it will help them to be healthy, but the don't the importance! Our bodies are very complex, I can even begin to describe how complex they are. They are also very fragile and easily hurt. It is our job to take care of them and nourish them. One of the best ways to nourish them is by eating fruits and vegetables! Fruits and veggies help provide are bodies with everything that they may need and keep things functioning normally. Depending on where you live you may get a certain fruit or vegetable more than in other areas, but generally if you eat a variety you should be fine. If we don't get the proper nutrients are bodies are begging for then they will begin to break down. We will start to see a rise in illness, disease and even behavior changes! There are SO many diseases and illnesses out there that could be cured through proper diet. As you know the rise of obesity, disease and illness are at a record high. And you know what we do? We always take medicine, we take another pill. These pills help us in one aspect, but in other ways they hurt us. Some hurt our digestions systems, our livers etc. So why take these medicines when the answer is right in front of you? Fruits and vegetables are natures medicines and they are our care takers.
