How To: Extract a Blackhead
Hello you guys! Blackheads can be extremely annoying. Especially when you have a cluster on your nose or chin (the most common areas) and are getting ready to go out or just tired of looking at them. While I don't reccommend picking at your face sometimes it feels impossible to not just go at those pustering blackheads and push them all out. Luckily for you there is a safe way to do it and it is fairly easy!
First you should start with a nice clean exfoliated face. This way you will get rid of most of the oil, bacteria and dead skin cells. It is important you do this that way you wont log gross stuff into your face deeper causing more blackheads. Also, exfoliants will help to lift up blackhead so it is easier to remove.
Second run hot water and use it to dampen a wash cloth. Then hold that on the area in order to open your pores
Third wrap a tissue tightly around each index finger. These are the figers you will use to extract the blackhead. Wrapping your figers with the tissue will prevent you from putting bacteria from your fingers onto your face, as well as, covering any nail which could be scaring to the skin.
Fourth find the blackhead you are going to attack and stretch the skin in an outwards direction around it. This will sort of open up that black head. Then use the side of your fingers (not your nails) and roll into the skin. You are not extracting from the top but from the bottom of the skin. The puss should come out fairly easily. Simply wipe it away and start somewhere else.
Once you are finished use a clay mask in order to cleanse, soothe, and calm down your skin. After that apply a product that will remove the oil from the area such as a product with salycilic acid.
